Details
The 000-28EC model was a huge hit when it became a stock model in 1996, and no wonder, as it was one of the first 000 models in a very long time to offer the shorter 24.9" scale with light top bracing. Combined with the herringbone top border, herringbone rosette, and vintage top coloring (based on Clapton's personal vintage 000), plus other vintage features, it's easy to see how this model paved the way for Martin's deep dive into reviving their vintage styles in contemporary models. This first-year example hasn't seen a lot of playing time, at least not yet, but there are a few very light pick marks on the pickguard. The frets are also in great shape, and has not had or needed any major repairs. It comes with an equally clean original hardshell case.
