Details
Ana’ole ukuleles are made by Garreth “Bula” Yahiku in Pearl City, Hawaii. This example has a spruce top and koa back and sides. Yahiku is an inventive builder and has some wild ideas, such as the lines of abalone inlaid in the top. (The abalone trim also goes around the top and back and up the the fretboard and around the face of the headstock) This tenor uke is excellent structural condition and very good cosmetic condition. The finish has a few checks in the top that don’t show up in the photos. The body is a little larger than most tenor ukuleles and it has a loud but mellow tone.
