Details
Lefty players are always stuck with fewer choices, but if you play left-handed and you prefer a rather wide neck it can be really tough (because wider neck steel string models are in such a minority).
This 00-28VS has a generous 1 13/16" neck width at the nut, making it fairly comfortable even for classical players. Another plus is the shorter string scale (just under 25 inches) which makes those tougher chords easier to reach. And Martin makes their left-handed models "lefties from the ground up," meaning it's not just a right-handed body with the nut and saddle reversed. Martin reverses the top bracing as well, preserving the tonal balance.
This Martin has been played, so there's light fret wear in the lower positions and a couple of dings to the finish on the top. No cracks, and nothing's been changed. Original hardshell case is in great shape. (this model has been discontinued, so new versions are not available)
