Details
The Loar-era A2Z has almost mythical status among fans of Gibson's A-model mandolins, and the powerful bass response on this example will remind you why. Of course it also has the truss rod and same narrow neck as the Lloyd Loar F-5, two features missing from all those earlier A models from the 'teens. This example is all original except for new frets and a replacement tailpiece in the proper style. No cracks, only surface wear to the finish. Lots of tonal power and projection, if you like oval-soundhole tone but find Gibson's earlier A models often a bit lacking this A2-Z will bring a smile. Includes the original hardshell case
